This innovative idea is really very helpful for parents who had missed their kids somewhere between a market or fair crowd.

The first meta allowed Amber Alerts on Facebook in 2015 and it has been successful to find authorities and quickly locate missing children.
AMBER ALERTS ON INSTAGRAM is now finally on Instagram. According to Instagram, this feature was developed in collaboration with organizations like the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) located in the US, the International Centre for Missing & Exploited Children, the National Crime Agency in the UK, the Attorney General’s Office in Mexico, the Australian Federal Police and more.
As we all know a team can work better in comparison to a lonely person, so Instagram is building a community to find missing kids. And with this alert, if a child is missing who is from your local area and this news will feed on your Instagram, you will be surely able to identify that child, in this way this will be beneficial.
The alert will be containing all the important details about the missing kid such as a photograph, description, location of the kidnap or missing, and any information that will be possible to provide. Instagram also allows people to further share the alert with friends to spread the news as a flue.
Note that these amber alert notifications are rare and specific to the search area. If you are getting notifications, this means there is an active search for a missing kid near your location.
Instagram used a variety of signals to find accurate people to show the amber alerts such as the city you list on your profile, your IP address, and location services (if you have it turned on).

After launching amber alerts on FACEBOOK in 2015, hundreds of children got their families back. Now, Instagram is trying too.
According to a survey in the year 2020, Amanda Disley and her spouse helped an 11-year-old Charlotte Moccia of Springfield, Massachusetts after seeing an AMBER Alert on Facebook.
And also in the year 2016, an AMBER Alert helped a four-year-old girl, who was kidnapped in Lakeland, Florida. Kaytlin Brown, an anesthesia technician at Baptist East Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee was on her lunch break when she saw the alert on Facebook, recognized the missing child, and quickly took action.
